LIGHT BULB MOMENTS

Highlighting Megan Thrift

Meet Megan Thrift, a seasoned hospitality professional who is no stranger to providing amazing customer service and fine-tuning the details. While on furlough, Megan decided she was going to take control of her future, expand her skill set, and obtain her real estate license. Now with her license in tow, Megan is ready to find your next perfect Florida home.

H&F: Please describe your career prior to this venture.

Megan: I was a group reservations supervisor at the Hilton Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria in Orlando, Florida.

H&F: How has your career prepared you for what is next?

Megan: Working in the hospitality industry I’ve learned to work with different clients, each with their own expectations, requirements, and personality. I’ve learned to pay close attention to detail and deliver exceptional service.

H&F; Tell us about how you have redefined yourself.

Megan: I’ve always had a passion for real estate and would often find myself searching for homes and sending family/friends who were in the market various listings that I came across. With the lack of certainty surrounding my job, I decided to get my real estate license. Now I’m a licensed real estate agent.

"We cannot always control what happens in this world, but we can choose how we respond." -Megan

H&F: When did you get that “light bulb” moment to start this brand?

Megan: After months of wondering if or when I would go back to work, I had to make a choice to take some control of my future.

H&F: What do you want the world to know?

Megan: I’m a second-generation native Floridian. It’s this true Florida legacy that fuels my extensive market knowledge and allows me to provide my clients with helpful personal perspectives as well as candid professional advice. My main goal is to build strong relationships through quality customer service and effective communication.

H&F: What encouraging advice would you offer someone unsure about starting their own venture?

Megan: I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. We cannot always control what happens in this world, but we can choose how we respond. If you’re passionate about something and work hard, you can do anything!

H&F: Anything else you want to share?

Megan: I’m excited to help anyone who is interested in buying, selling or investing.
